Keep it aside.\n\nHeat oil or ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let them crackle.\n\nAdd the soaked matar dal and fry for 2\u20133 minutes.\n\nAdd chopped onion, green chilies, and curry leaves. Cook until the onions become soft.\n\nAdd water and salt, and bring it to a boil.\n\nSlowly add the roasted semolina while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.\n\nCook for 3\u20134 minutes until the upma becomes thick and soft.\n\nGarnish with fresh coriander leaves.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This Matar Dal Upma is a tasty and healthy breakfast dish made with semolina (rava) and split pea lentils.
